Over its 75-year history, the Principia College football team has been made up of hundreds of student athletes from all over the country and, at times, all over the world. Most but not all of these young men came to Principia after playing high school football. Many of them have graduated from Principia with All-Conference honors, and some have even earned All-American honors. Three players — wide receiver Matt Newton and quarterback Jordan Poznick, both 1994 graduates and wide receiver Lewis Howes — currently hold NCAA Division III receiving and passing records, respectively.
